Pamela and Hermann Viets Field is an NCAA Division III competition field for soccer, lacrosse and club sports. The field is home to B´ÎÔª men's and women's soccer, men’s and women’s lacrosse and provides outdoor practice space to other teams and clubs on campus.
The field, located at 1305 N. Broadway, was built on top of a 780-car parking complex and is the first all-LED lit competition field in the United States. On the northern side of the facility, there is a .88-acre public park and the We Energies STEM Center. The facility opened in August 2013 and was largely supported with a very generous donation from Drs. Robert and Patricia Kern. A wheelchair accessible ramp is located at the corner of Knapp Street and Broadway.
