The Early College Credit Program at B´ÎÔª allows students to continue their education beyond what participating high schools have to offer. Students have the options to get an introduction to many different academic programs as well as taking higher level English, math and science courses. ECCP will provide you with a step ahead of others on your path to higher education.
In order to be eligible for the Early College Credit Program:
- Students must have completed the 9th grade and have demonstrated that they have the prerequisite knowledge to be successful in the B´ÎÔª course.
- Students must have an unweighted GPA of a 3.0 and an acceptable disciplinary record to participate. Proof of prerequisites may be required depending on the course.
- Students must apply no later than March 1 for a course to be taken in the upcoming fall semester or Oct. 1 for a course to be taken in the upcoming spring semester.
How you benefit:
- Students take a college course at a reduced cost.
- Students who successfully complete the course may be granted high school and college credit. Check with your guidance counselor for your school district’s policies.
- Students will be able to participate in advanced learning opportunities at the college level.
