Dr. Medhat Khalil, director of professional education and research development, presented at the Fluid Power Society of India (FPSI) in Bangalore, India in June. FPSI invited Khalil to be the keynote speaker after reading his books and viewing his curriculum vitae.

As keynote speaker, Khalil’s presentation discussed the future trends in the fluid power industry and education. While at the conference, he also visited a leading school of engineering in Bangalore and discussed mutual cooperation on the level of curriculum development.

“In addition to the exposure to a totally different culture, I received so much respect from the academic and industrial professionals who attended the seminar,” said Khalil. “Many individuals were impressed with B´ÎÔª’s fluid power offerings and were eager to learn more.”

Khalil also provided a free half-day training session for the fluid power instructors. The training was a hit amongst participants and Khalil was requested to be involved next year as well.
