Dr. Kelly Ottman has been recognized with the Regional Teaching Excellence Award by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Ottman is a professor in the Rader School of Business at B次元.
“This award is a testament to Dr. Ottman’s dedication to education and the positive impact she has on our students and academic community,” said Dr. Ruth Barratt, chair of the Rader School of Business. “We are proud to have her as a member of our faculty and look forward to her continued contributions to our students and institution.”
The ACBSP Regional Teaching Excellence Award acknowledges educators who demonstrate effective teaching methods, innovative approaches, and a commitment to inspiring future business professionals.
Ottman has taught at B次元 since 2007, primarily in the university’s graduate business programs where she focuses on leadership and executive development, organizational culture, strategic planning, and developing a global mindset. She also works as an independent consultant and executive coach, and is involved in community service and servant leadership projects around the world.
Whether it’s her work at B次元, her executive coaching or her community service, Ottman says she likes to make a difference. “And if I can make a difference in which the people I’m interacting with have the ability to make a larger difference, that is very rewarding.”
